Sex, gen si transgen

First of all, I want to wish you both a Merry Christmas and a Happy New 2018!

Thank you for broaching a difficult subject that I would have liked to be a part of. Alas the timing of it with the holidays and family visiting from out of town made my participation impossible.

This debate is far from over, not just here and among us, but within society at large. The central point for me in recognizing how much of a problem this has become is that it is clearly indicative of mankind’s fallen state from the ideal that God created. No one can deny the fact that the entire LGBTIAQSXetc. movement is first and foremost a selfish one. It is self-centered in the extreme and it is the single largest driving force of this movement. Pride and vanity are its two wings.

Everything else results from people taking various positions in the argument. Also, let’s not lump feminism and the LGBT movement into one; they are not the same. This is a conflation that we should avoid because it is incorrect. In fact, since feminism itself became a movement, it has changed vastly from what it once was.

And to discuss transgenders in the context of society’s conventions of gender roles (machinist vs nurse, boss vs secretary, pastor vs deaconess, etc.) is to further muddy the waters. Let’s not go down that road.

The issue is a rational understanding based on science and common sense. Once we establish this, the rest of the problem is much easier to understand.

Having said that, we need to clarify at least these two things:

‘Sex’ is a word that can mean an activity or a biological status. We need to be crystal clear which definition we apply and we need to stick to it. In the context of this discussion, sex is a biological state: male or female, based on genetics, which is established basically at conception or soon thereafter. This cannot be altered no matter what hormones or surgeries one undergoes (we don’t need to address genetic defects or malformations that result in hermaphrodites or other deformities, we are speaking of the 99.9% normal).

‘Gender’ is another (as of late) loaded term that is derived directly from sex, in that specific, obvious attributes and characteristics that apply to the male or female can be further applied to language, behavior, expressions, dress, etc. But it is fundamentally bound to sex and it has been so for millennia. It cannot be different and for the majority of mankind’s history, it was not a source of debate until these days.

Behaviors, preferences, thoughts and desires are all products of the mind. All sexual activity, desire and attraction start in the mind. Therefore, to divorce the acting out of these from the biological constraints is to deny one’s own mind and biology. Further, to willfully deny these biological constraints by altering oneself physically (whether with hormones only or with hormones and surgery) in an attempt to switch genders and the sex roles that are built into these is sheer mental illness. It is the exact opposite of rationality or common sense. In fact, for most normal people it is an affront to both.

The fact that there are doctors who encourage such mental illness by performing these procedures is again indicative of how far we have fallen as a society. The Hippocratic Oath that starts out with “do no harm” is openly violated to appease the mental depravities of a few who demand everyone else celebrate their choice (annual gay pride parades???) and who demand legislative protection from being referred to as the “wrong” gender. In Canada and in some counties in California, you can be sued for calling a man “Mr.” if thinks he is a “Ms.”

The very height of stupidity and mental illness coupled with moral depravity is the recipe for this dish that society is being forced to swallow. It should be painfully obvious that their ultimate goal is to reach and infect the innocent youth with this garbage. Again, it’s not about feminism or toxic masculinity. These are smoke and mirrors to deflect from the issue, and I don’t deny the problems associated with these. If anything, that just further underlines the moral depravity we are witnessing.

It might be shocking (is it? really though?) but I agree with you. The whole “debate” is simply a waste of time and a distraction for those who have not much else to do with their time, nor sensible reasoning and critical thinking powers.

Gender identity is a non-issue, an oxymoron of the highest order. We should not be making it optional, just as much as the fetus has no say in what biological sex it is going to develop into; it’s already coded in its genes.

Just a quick reflection on what used to be reality: most women enjoy attending bridal showers, baby showers, and other kinds of parties made for (and by) women. What’s one shower you hear of less and less these days?

Why?

Because some people have bought into the (diversity! inclusiveness! tolerance!) nonsense that you can choose your gender, and it has nothing to do with the biological sex of the baby. Crazy right?

That by itself should have shut down the so-called debate that your biological sex is not the same as your gender. You are not free to choose either one, your genes have already spoken. But with people being dumb and dumber these days, they allow their kids to “be anything you want to be,” even another gender than you were born. Can you believe they even go so far as to redesign birth certificates to allow for this to be undecided at time of birth???

My brain physically hurts at these thoughts.

Andrei, nu e nimic șocant, bătălia pentru etatizarea și ideologizarea nou-născuților e deja veche. E vorba, de fapt, de confiscarea omului încă de la naștere. Și, cum statul nu face copii, aceștia trebuie furați de la părinții biologici. CPS e arma perfectă pentru cei deja născuți, abuzul prin nerecunoașterea libertății de a-și alege „genul” va fi principala acuzație de acum înainte. Dacă-ți dorești să ai și să-i crești tu, fă copii cât mai repede, în max. 10 ani îi vei face pentru Hillary, nu pentru tine.

Andrei, dacă gândești așa, deja nu mai riști nimic, că-ți dai tu copiii, de bunăvoie, Leviathanului (puterii violente).

Încearcă să ieși din logica consumului. Nu datorezi pieței să-i sporești numărul de participanți (adică să crești cererea solvabilă/creditworthy demand). Datorezi, cel mult, noi produse și servicii, care să le sporească celorlalți libertatea. Nu ești dator să consumi cât mai mult.

Ești capabil să procreezi dacă ai aparatul genital funcțional și ești capabil să educi dacă tu însuți te-ai educat. Restul sunt tâmpenii pe care „societatea” (citește „puterea violentă”) ți le impune.

Oamenii ăia care trăiesc din welfare (ajutoare sociale, românește) nu pun nimănui pistolul la tâmplă pentru a-i lua banii. Asta o fac politicienii. Asistații social (adică ăia ce trăiesc din food stamps etc.) își VÂND votul pentru banii ăia, nu-i iau pe degeaba. Așa că, dacă vrei să nu mai fie oameni ce trăiesc așa, sistemul de cumpărare a voturilor trebuie schimbat. Dar dacă s-ar schimba sistemul, actualii politruci (Trump included) nu ar mai fi niciodată votați, iar legiunea de lobbyists&pundits ar muri de foame. La fel ideologii universitari din așa-zisele „științe umaniste/sociale”. Pentru că ăștia sunt adevărații beneficiari ai welfare state, nu „diverșii”, fie ei negri, latino sau asiatici, cum cred toți rasiștii.

E firesc să voteze cu cei care promit un preț mai bun pentru votul lor. Unde duce asta știm deja – Roma antică hrănea nenumărați „trântori”, cărora le mai dădea și circ, pe lângă pâine.

Eu resping cu totul discursul „drepturilor”. Ce mă interesează este doar libertatea.
